P10 Facilitation: 10 Principles for Leading Meetings that Matter 14/15 October 2024Unleash the Power of Effective Facilitation with P10 Training

All of the important decisions we make in society are done in meetings. We all participate in meetings and many of us lead them. We have created a way of learning how to facilitate that works with groups, and not against them. The Principles enable any meeting leader to design their meetings by paying attention to structure and paying attention to how they show up. In this workshop, you will learn to manage the meeting and manage yourself. Learn to lead more while controlling less.

We call our approach to facilitation the P10 Approach – 10 Principles for Leading Meetings that Matter. It is developed by Sandra Janoff and Marv Weisbord and based on the Ten Principles in Don’t Just Do Something, Stand There!

NOTICE:
The Training is part of a series of 3 Future Search events taking place from 9 – 17 October 2024. Find a print friendly overview here.

Who are your Trainers?

Sandra Janoff, PhD co-developed the principle-based methodology called Future Search, a process used world-wide to get the “whole system” focusing on the future and creating values-based action strategies. Sandra’s work has had global, national, regional and local influence on an array of complex social and economic issues, such as: Creating a future for children living in the midst of war in Sudan; Creating a more welcoming Europe for people on the move; Enabling equitable maternal care across the United States; Redesigning global process in corporations such as IKEA and Haworth for environmental and economic sustainability; Addressing disaster risk reduction in the southern hemisphere with UNDP; and building communities in many parts of the world that were previously torn apart by racism, sectarianism, economic blight, loss of traditional values and severe health and well-being inequities.

Sandra is Director of Future Search Network, a worldwide network of practitioners dedicated to work with communities anywhere in the world for whatever people can afford. She is co-author of Future Search, Don’t Just Do Something, Stand There! and Lead More, Control Less. She was honored with the 2016 Organization Development Network’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
